Not quite sure IF this will ever come to being, but one things for sure, most companies producing phones are now focussing on ensuring that new features introduced in the phone models are those that touch a users life in some way other than just for telephony/communication purposes alone.
Even a simple series 60 phone like 6630 has an accessory whereby one can fit an actual lense and increase the optimcal zoom by 6 times. amazing what one CAN do with the phone even now.:)
