Nokia is going to give the N-Gage another shot this September, when it re-introduces its game-centric mobile device to consumers. The first version of the N-Gage was a flop, done in by its large size and indifference from consumers. However, Nokia claims that this new version, which was recently shown to developers, offers an experience that “will evolve into the next generation of mobile gaming.”
Mobile game publishers EA Mobile and Gameloft are believed to be backing the launch with major titles, with additional publishers expected to follow the September launch of the device. By early 2008, Nokia expects to have some of the biggest franchises and hottest mobile games included in the N-Gage experience.
