The booming wireless phone subscriber base in India is expected to reach 265.2 million by 2010. According to a research paper, “Achieving Profitability in the Indian Wireless Market,” by market research firm IN-Stat, the booming Indian wireless market, the subscriber base for which has crossed the 100 million mark, has plenty of room for growth.
However, average revenue per user has declined significantly and the downward trend is expected to continue, the survey says.
