Vodafone has struck a deal with YouTube to launch a mobile version of the video-sharing website.UK users will be the first to be able to access a YouTube for mobile service.
Mobile is the next frontier for the various social networking websites and web 2.0 companies, expect similar announcements from the likes of Bebo, Piczo and friends.
The YouTube mobile service will be rolled out to Vodafone customers in “key markets across Europe” with access via the Vodafone Live! portal.
YouTube will provide a daily selection of new videos and users can upload content, forward links of videos to friends and search for clips.
