Reliance Communications added 802,720 subscribers using code division multiple access-based mobile and fixed-wireless phones in May, according to data posted on the Web site of Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India.
The company’s total CDMA base touched 25.99 mln as on April 30. Tata Teleservices Ltd. added 209,859 subscribers in April, with the company’s user base touching 16.76 mln at the end of the month. The total CDMA user base in the country touched 45.23 mln as on April 30 as opposed to 44.18 million as on March 31. Subscriber details of the main CDMA mobile, wireline, and fixed wireless providers, as on April 30, according to the association.
