MeetMoi, the mobile dating site, has raised $1.5 million in funding in its first round of financing.The funding was provided by Acadia Woods Partners.
MeetMoi is a service that operates in a similar manner to Dodgeball or Rabble, where you can find someone in your local proximity to meet up with you right now. But with MeetMoi, you can find a date, not just an existing friend. MeetMoi will search your geographical location for a person that meets your search criteria, and let you anonymously set up a date. Arrange for a place and time, and off you go.
