Truly, designing a wap site is a key point. But to customize it for every phone one requires device info, right?

Yes, WURFL could be one way of detecting screen size of the mobile device but then its euro-centric. Can you give me pointer to Indian counterpart of WURFL? If its not lets start building the much needed repository!!

I would like to suggest that you try out mob5.com where you easily can create your mobile website for free. For professionals, our product pro5 makes it possible to interface to your existing systems and data and get your current website mobilized in a very short time.
