Today I received a mail from the Admob guys that Google Inc.has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AdMob, a mobile display ad technology provider, for $750 million in stock. This acquisition will enhance Google’s existing expertise and technology in mobile advertising, while also giving advertisers and publishers more choice in this growing new area.
I was expecting this to happen sooner or later as Admob was much ahead in Adserving on mobile and Google was no where near. With this deal Google mobile advertsing business will geta tremendous boost. But am still not sure if 750Million $ is an ok figure for this deal.
