Sony Ericsson’s recent patent shows the blueprints for what looks like a PSP phone or certainly an advanced Gaming Phone
Their recent patent filing shows how Sony Ericsson will go about integrating these two gadgets.
The beauty of it all is that Sony will not have to worry about the games for the PSP phone. Just make it compatible with the standard PSP games and Nokia will have a really tough time catching up with it’s next gen N-Gage platform.

The unnamed slider phone, as revealed by the wireless geeks at uber phones, looks like it’s made of polished glass and would need to come with an anti-fingerprint duster if ever released.
Pulchritude aside, the putative specs include an FM radio, a 3.2-megapixel camera and 2GB of onboard flash memory. We’ll take two please.

Ericsson, the world’s largest maker of mobile-phone networks reported a 14% rise in quarterly profit, but cautioned that the market for mobile equipment may slow in 2007.
Ericsson said fourth-quarter net income improved to 9.73 billion Swedish kronor (USD 1.4 billion), or 0.61 krona a share, from 8.54 billion kronor, or 0.54 krona a share, a year earlier. Ericsson benefitted from Japanese operators buiding out their mobile broadband offerings and Western European carriers increasingly letting Ericsson manage their networks.

A new concept phone from Sony Ericsson

Shiny Shiny has spotted a new concept phone from Sony Ericsson. Though I’m not sure why it’s just a concept and not on the market. Doesn’t seem to have anything out of the ordinary; 2GB storage, 3.2 megapixel camera and a radio.
